For approximately eight years Mackenna has been our primary care taker of our family pets. As a care taker she goes above and beyond “stopping by” to check up on them or feed them. She spends quality time showing them care and attention they desperately require while their very attentive family is out of town. Through the years, we have had a dog, cats, hamsters, ferrets, a prairie dog, and a lizard. Although not her favorite thing to feed, she put the lizard’s needs ahead of her uneasiness of feeding it live bugs.
She often sends pictures or video while she is playing or just spending time with them. She would make sure the caged animals spent quality time out of the cage and would report if there were any concerns such as not eating the way she/we would expect or not as playful as usual. Her love for all animals’ shines through with her care giving. She will quickly prove to be a reliable asset to your pet care needs.

To say Mackenna is a pet lover is an understatement. I don’t think there’s an animal out there that wouldn’t appeal to Mackenna. She has been taking care of our almost 2 year old mixed lab, Jade, for the past year. Jade is a rescue and skittish on city streets. She is extremely energetic and rambunctious so Mackenna makes sure she gets plenty of exercise. She is incredibly responsible and reliable. She has never missed an appointment or cancelled last minute. Since we crate Jade having a reliable care taker is crucial. Mackenna has stayed at our apparent overnight when we travel and we have been more than satisfied with work ethic and care of our dog.

Mackenna has taken care of our family pets for many years. The duration of her care taking stems between 1-10 days and from planned vacations as well as last minute request! All the while, we were never worried that the cats and dog were not getting what they need. She dedicates time to getting to know them and show them love and affection in the absence of their owners. We often get pictures of them and her while she is spending time with them. We regret when she is unavailable as we do not have the same level of comfort in anyone else as she has earned from us.
